Brownwood Lake is a 125 acre spring fed All Sport lake located in Paw Paw, Michigan within Van Buren County. The lake has an association called Lake Brownwood Association and has a lot of wildlife. There are quiet neighborhoods that surround the lake. There is a boat launch with a dock and a large beach. The area is great for both vacation and year round homes. The lake is close to several cities and towns:

Paw Paw, Michigan is a village in Van Buren County that covers almost 3 square miles and is the county seat. The village is in southwest Michigan about 20 miles west of Kalamazoo. This rural area has a lot of grape growers.This area is in the heart of Michigan’s wine country. The grapes are used for wine, juice and jelly. They have some fine dining restaurants. Paw Paw is home to St. Julian Winery, Coca Cola North America and Knouse Foods. Paw Paw is host to an annual Wine and Harvest Festival in September along with the Paw Paw Days and Classic Car Show. Paw Paw, Michigan has quite a few lakes to enjoy.
