Berrien Springs Michigan

Berrien Springs is a village located in central Berrien County, Michigan, about 10 miles east of Lake Michigan. The village is located on the St. Joseph River within Oronoko Charter Township and about two miles east of the US 31 Connector which connects I-94 to the Indiana Toll Road. The rural farming village covers just a little over 1 square mile. St. Joseph,Michigan and Niles, Michigan are connected to the Greater Berrien Springs area by the Joseph Valley Parkway. South Bend is about 25 minutes outside Berrien Springs. Berrien Springs sits in the middle of the Michigan fruit belt. The area has local farms, U-Picks, vineyards  and wineries. The area is known for their corn, soybeans, strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, apples, pears, grapes, a variety of vegetables, wine, honey and Christmas trees. Andrews University is located in Berrien Springs.
